Joseph Anthony Beltran, Jr., beloved brother, entered rest on January 26, 2015 at the age of 71. Joseph worked for civil service, retiring after 25 years of service. A native of San Antonio, he was born to Antonio and Maria Beltran on May 21, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Manuel Beltran. He is survived by his siblings: Mary B. Newton, Luis Martin Beltran, David Joaquin Beltran, Sr. Rita Elena Beltran MCM, Michael Gerard Beltran; sister-in-law, Rita Luz Beltran; nieces and nephews, David James, Theresa Ann, Janice Marie, and Anthony Beltran, John Edward and Michael Joseph Newton. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 to celebrate a 9:00 a.m. Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church.
