Josefina R. Vega

Josefina R. Vega age 88 years of San Antonio, Texas passed away to be with her Lord on December 28, 2013. She was born April 15, 1925 in Hondo, Texas. Josie was a very devoted Christian. Josefina is preceded in death by her husband Joe D. Martinez, sons Roy Martinez, Roberto Martinez, daughter Tereza Lozano, son-in-law David De La Cruz. She is survived by her daughter Lupe De La Cruz, grandson Michael J. De La Cruz of S.A. Daughter Stella Rodriguez (David) of Alma, Michigan, Sons Jose R. Martinez (Hilda) Hector Martinez (Mary), Ernesto Martinez (Kim) of Saginaw, Michigan. 23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. Our appreciation and special thanks to Elias and Elena Vargas, Sylvia Oliva and granddaughter Bianca Martinez. A visitation will begin Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with an evening service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral service at Iglesia De Dios Mi Refugio followed by internment in San Jose Burial Park.
