Jose Angel Tanguma Sr. passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Born April 11, 1969 in Lubbock, Texas, he is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Garcia Tanguma Jr. and Atanacia Garcia; his father in law, Domingo Mendiola Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Domingo Mendiola III.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife, Leslie M. Tanguma; his 2 sons, Jose Angel “Joey” Tanguma Jr. and Erick Elian Tanguma (Faith); his 2 granddaughters, Zara Tanguma and Xcelia Tanguma; his 3 sisters, Benita Franco (Jose), Juanita Tanguma and Astrella Tanguma; his 3 brothers, Amado Tanguma, Juan Tanguma III and Lupe Tanguma (Sara); and his numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family and friends who loved him.
The family will be receiving friends for the Visitation on Monday, May 17th from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Friendship Center Church – 217 Pleasanton Road 78214.
