Jose R. Rodriguez

Jose Roberto lived by faith as a passionate worshiper everyday of his life, serving as Minister and Director of Worship for 23 years at Templo Cristo Es El Camino; alongside his wife Pastor Tina Rodriguez.

Jose is preceded in passing by his parents; sisters Rosa Elia Rodriguez Ramirez , Yolanda R. Euresti, & Guadalupe Flores.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ernestina V. Rodriguez, and his children, Elizabeth Perez and her husband, Lupe; Gustavo Rodriguez, Veronica Garcia & her husband, Michael; Mike Anthony Rodriguez. Grandchildren: Illianna Perez; Faith Elizabeth Perez, Isaac Jeremiah Perez, Aileene Grace Rodriguez, Michael Ayden Garcia, Alyssa Rose Garcia, Celeste Elizabeth Rodriguez and Amaris Nicole Garcia. Brothers and Sisters: Maria de Jesus Montalvo, Maria del Carmen Rodriguez Silva, Mauro Rodriguez Ramirez & Miguel Rodríguez Ramirez, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Due to restrictions on public gathering, the visitation for Jose at Roy Akers Funeral Home-515 North Main Ave. 78205- will be limited to only 40 people in the building at a time. There will be a public visitation period on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 pm in accordance with the limitations. On Wednesday, August 5, the Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Roy Akers, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
