Jose R Montoya Jr.

Jose R Montoya Jr., born on August 28, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas was called to be with The Lord on July 16, 2021 at the age of 64 years. He was a 1975 Graduate of Sidney Lanier High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking and dancing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco V. Almaraz and Jesusa (Susie) Reyes Almaraz; brother, Inocencio Almaras; sister, Norma R. Almaraz; grandmother, Francisca M. Reyes. He is survived by his son, Jose Manuel Montoya; daughters, Rosalinda Montoya (Augustine Gonzales) and Maria Guadalupe Almanza; numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces; sisters, Beatris Espin (Alberto) and Leticia Almaraz (Benito Villarreal)

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
