Jose J. Contreras went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2019, at the age of 75. He is preceded in death by his parents: Velia and Miguel Contreras. Jose is survived by his loving wife, Olivia Contreras; daughter and son-in-law: Ana and Arturo Flores; sons and daughters-in-law:, Armando Contreras and Margaret Hernandez, and Carlos and Gabriela Contreras; grandchildren: Iliana Davila, Jasmine Flores, Jacqueline Flores, Isabella Contreras, Carlos Contreras, Jr., Eduardo Contreras and Jessica Contreras; great grandchildren: Johnathan Barrientes, and Vanessa Mendoza; sister, Juanita Villanueva; as well as numerous extended relatives and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2019, for a 10:00 am Mass at St. Leos the Great Catholic Church. Interment to follow in San Jose Burial Park.
