He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Cruz; son Reynaldo Cruz and siblings.
He is survived by his daughter in law and caregiver, Gricelda A. Cruz; daughter, Viola Martinez (Roger), Luisa Campos (Richard); sister, Estela; brother, Jesse and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
John worked at South San ISD for over 30 years. He was a loving and caring person, he will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Trevino Funeral Home. A Funeral procession will depart at 10:00 am for a Rosary and a Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:00 am followed by interment at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
