Joe Allen Norris

Joe Allen Norris, a resident of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at age 77. Joe was born to parents James Norris and Fay L. Smith on July 11, 1945 in Burnet Texas. He graduated from Highland High school.

He was a constant source of love and inspiration to all, a devoted companion to his family, friends, always had a good sense of humor, and was a serious Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved bowling, shooting pool, country music and hunting but most of all he loved fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Elaine Cubellis (Pete) and step son Stephan Sawka.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Christine Janusz Norris, sister Lydia Cleveland (David) son Joe A. Norris Jr. (Susie), step son Anthony O. Sawka (Norma), grandson Joseph James Norris, step granddaughter MonaLisa Fanner (Michael) and step grandson Orlando Barrera II (Lisa), 4 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
