Jose (Joe) Francisco Lara born November 13, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with our Lord on December 8, 2017 at the age of 64. He was preceded in death by parents, Francisco & Oralia Lara. He is survived by his children, Jose “Joey” Francisco Lara, Jr. (Christina), Frank Lara (Dinah), and Erik Perez; grandchildren, Joleen, Analisa, Stylez, Isabella, and Harley, Kylee, Lyle and Jacob. Also sister, Oralia Lara-Vargas (Bob), sister Monica Urbina and niece Melissa Benitez and brother, Pete Lara.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, December 15, 2017 at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow to San Fernando III Cemetery.
