Joanne “Patti” Wetherill passed away peacefully on June 23, 2022 from natural causes. Patti was being cared for and was comforted at the time of her passing from the wonderful staff at Memorial Medical Nursing facility. She was 86.
Patti is survived by her three sons; Gregory, George (Wife Mary), and Grant (Wife Ester). Nanny Patti, as she was fondly known, will be missed by her five grandchildren; George Deacon, IV (wife Brooke), Dawn, Dominic, Madison and Michaela, and her two great-grandchildren, Stella and George Deacon, V.
Patti Wetherill grew up an only child in South Carolina, the daughter of Roy and Elaine Burch (deceased). She is preceded in death 1995 by her husband, George Deacon Wetherill, III.
Patti was very loved and will be missed terribly by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial service we are holding in her honor at the following location and date. Since Patti was a woman who always dressed her best and especially loved vibrant colors and great jewelry, we ask that in her memory you please wear something bright and colorful.
