Left behind to cherish JoAnn's memory is her sister, Mary Smith; daughter, Julie Jones; sons, Bill (Pamela) Brangers and Kevin (Stacy) Brangers; grandchildren, Megan Jones, Austin Jones, Kaitlyn (Parker) Kennedy, Christian Brangers, Lauren (Nick) Thomas; great granddaughter, Harper Thomas; and her beloved furbaby, Annie. JoAnn is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and extended family.
JoAnn meets in Heaven her husband, Charles Brangers; and her parents, Barbara and Freddie Stich.
JoAnn graduated from Providence Catholic High School in San Antonio, TX. She had many hobbies that included gardening, sewing, and puzzles. She belonged to the Bulverde Garden Club as well as the Texas Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
JoAnn had an infectious smile, a kind heart, and was a Mimi or GiGi to anyone who would be willing to spend time with her. She loved all dogs and they loved her. Most of all, JoAnn will be remembered for being a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, dog mom, and friend.
A visitation for JoAnn will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232. A funeral ceremony will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sunset North Funeral Home followed by a family and friend reception.
