Jo Ann Granger

Jo Ann Granger loving wife and mother passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the age of 75. Jo Ann was born August 18, 1940 in Stigler, Oklahoma to parents Leonard and Beatrice Crowder. Jo Ann enjoyed shopping, entertaining, singing, decorating and making new friends, she loved listening to the Gaithers and the proudest moments of her life were the birth of her children and grandchild. She loved them to the moon and back. Jo Ann worked over 20 years as a secretary for Ft. Sam Houston Elementary School. Jo Ann married her loving husband Gerald Granger at the age of 18.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents. Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 57 years Gerald Granger, sister Mary Jo Gaesseler, brother David Crowder. Jo Ann is also survived by her sons Gary Neal Granger, Randall Lee Granger and his wife Lisa Michelle and grandson Gordon Thomas.

Visitation will take place at Sunset Funeral Home Saturday February 13, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral Services will take place at Eisenhauer Road Baptist Church, 3950 Eisenhauer Road, San Antonio, Texas 78218 Sunday February 14, 2016 at 12:30pm. A Committal Service will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 9:15am.
