Jesusa G. Silva born on March 5, 1921 in Houston, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2013 in Edinburg, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amador Silva; and great-grandson, Ryan Andrew Castillon.
Survivors include her daughters, Gloria Parrish & husband James, Terry Schindledecker & husband Sam, Lupe Silva, Sally Guerrero & husband Robert and Susie Atwood & Dr. T.J.; sons, Amador Silva, Jr. and wife Yolanda and John Silva & wife Connie; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Elena Lopez & Sofia Silguero; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitaion will be from 6-9:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Sunset Funeral Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 26 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 6907 Kitchener, SATX, 78240. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Park.
