Jesus Torres, Sr. passed away at the age of 69 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on August 1, 1950 in Texas City, TX to Juan and Lorenza Torres. He is preceded in death by his parents; His in-laws Antonio and Margarita Fejeran; sisters: Virginia Quinonez, Esther Garcia, Theresa Collezo and brother: Juan Torres. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Karen Torres; children: Lori Duenas, Jesus Torres Jr., Virginia Manning, and Patricia Lara; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.
Jesus was a kind, loving person who never met a stranger. He was the jokester of the family and had everyone laughing and smiling. He proudly served his country and loved the military life. He was a family man and loved to bbq for his family and was always the one that could get everyone together. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and the favorite uncle. He will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 11:00am-2:00pm to Sunset Funeral Home.
