Jesus De La Cerda, age 29, went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2013. He was born on August 5, 1983 in Aurora, IL. He was a loving son and brother who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Jesus graduated from East Aurora High School, Aurora, IL and got his Nursing Degree from San Antonio College. He currently worked as an RN for Fresenius Medical Care. He was in the process of starting classes for his Master’s Degree and was very energetic & loved keeping active.
Jesus was preceded in death by his aunt, Florence De La Cerda.
He is survived by his mother, Diana De La Cerda; sister, Christina De La Cerda; brother, Isaac De La Cerda; grandmother, Eloisa De La Cerda; uncle, Manuel De La Cerda; aunts, Emma Lumbreros, Blanca De La Cerda & Mrs. Leticia Gomez; nephew, Joe Alan Leyva, Jr.; special friend, Jana Melchor; very close cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 12 noon, Monday, February 18, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
