Jesus Cantu

Mr. Cantu was a loving father and grandfather. He was a loyal member and usher of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus. He served in the United States Army and worked for over 45 years at Grocery Supply Company. He enjoyed listening to Mariachi music and dancing. He lived life to the fullest an enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will live in our hearts forever.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Del Socorro Cantu; his second wife, Aurora Cantu; siblings, Julio Cantu, Pedro Cantu Jr., Jose Cantu and Carmen Cantu.

He is survived by his sons; Jesus Cantu Jr., and wife, Lorraine; Noel G. Cantu; grandchildren, Noel Cantu Jr. and his wife, Jeanette; Cassandra O. Cantu, Alex Garza and his wife, Katherine; 4 great grandchildren; also, many other family members from The Cantu Family and Barberena Family.

The Mass of The Resurrection will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 4603 St. John's Way, San Antonio,TX 78212. Everyone will meet at the church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237.
