Jesse D. Martinez, Jr. went to be with our Lord on March 21, 2013 at the age of 61. He was preceded in death by his father Jesus Martinez and brother Antonio (Tony) Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 19 years Blanca Martinez, children; Adolph Garcia IV and wife Rosie, Christina Garcia, Jesse Martinez, Michelle Resendez, Tom Jason Martinez, 11 grandchildren, mother Selvia Martinez, brothers; Eloy Martinez, Richard Martinez, David Martinez, Martin Martinez, Carlos Martinez, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30am on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 to San Fernando Cathedral for a 9:00am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
