She was born in El Paso, Texas July 30, 1980 to David L. Harris and Deborah J. Maffei. She attended New Mexico State University where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree and went on to spend the last 19 years as a Speech and Language Pathologist in El Paso, as well as San Antonio.
Jennifer leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Ella Rose Smith; parents, David and Deborah Harris of San Antonio; brother, Mark S. Harris; sister-in-law, Evelien Oey Harris; and niece, Kaylee Madeline Harris of El Paso, Texas.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herman C. Maffei and Agnes L. Maffei, and paternal grandparents, Gerald D. Harris and Emma Lee Harris.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and wonderful coworkers and neighbors. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Smith family.
