Jane Ann Harrison passed away at the age of 89 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on April 5, 1930 in Port Arthur, TX to Isaac and Jeanette Durke. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: George Walter Harrison, Jr.; brother: Harold Carter Durke; son: Stephen Harrison. She is survived by her children: David Harrison, Jeanette Evans, Marie Liu married to Steven Liu; grandchildren: Brian Evans, James Evans, Randall Evans, Sean Evans, Sara Liu, Anthony Liu, Amber Liu and other family members and friends.
Jane was born in Port Arthur, TX. Her mother was a church organist and her father was an independent petroleum entrepreneur. She later attend Trinity University where she met her loving husband George, where he was currently serving in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. Throughout her life she taught in Special Education in various schools and stayed home for a period to raise her children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 12:00pm at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 13888 Dreamwood Dr, San Antonio, TX 78233 with entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
