James Michael Dickinson, age 27, entered into peaceful rest on November 10, 2009. Michael was a very talented young man with a gift for music. He graduated from James Madison high school in 2000, and from there began his endeavor into Music. Michael was pursuing a degree in Music at the University of North Texas. He brought happiness and joy to his family and friends, and those that knew him know that he always had a smiling face. Michael was a good son, brother and friend who will be greatly missed. Michael was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 23, 1982. He was preceded in death by his granddaddy John Y. Dickinson II, and his grandma Eileen Smith. He is survived by his parents Lt. Col.(Ret.-USAF) John and Joyce Dickinson; brothers and sisters-in-law John and Norma Dickinson, Dr. Joe and Margaret Dickinson, Richard Dickinson and Rebecca Dickinson, and Drs. Robert and Jennifer Dickinson; and grandmother Velia Dickinson. He was also a loved Uncle to Joey and Alston Dickinson, as well as Everett and William Dickinson. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening November 17, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 18, 2009 at Noon in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
