James Robert Barnes

James R. Barnes was born in McAllen Texas to John Robert and Virginia Ann Barnes on 05/31/1959. He went to school at McAllen Texas. He married name of spouse on anniversary date in place of marriage. He graduated from McAllen High School. He worked as a type of job for name of company for number of years worked. He was a veteran of which war and served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and was awarded list any medals. He was involved in list any clubs, civic originations, leagues, religious orders, etc.

James R. Barnes is preceded in death by Father, John Robert Barnes, Mother, Virginia Ann Hay Barnes and oldest brother John Wesley Barnes.

James R. Barnes is survived by Brother Alan Russell Barnes, Sister /Niece, Jennifer Lee Barnes, Niece, Glenda Lynn Wolfe, Nephew-in-law Ben Wolfe, Grand-Nephew Devin Ryan Barnes and Grand-Niece Genevieve Bean Wolfe

A memorial service for James will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A ceremony remembrance will occur Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A committal service will occur Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A reception will occur Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
