Jacqueline Barnes Dixon, age 99, passed away in San Antonio, Texas on July 16, 2023. She was born on February 18, 1924 in Monticello, Indiana. Jacqueline was a loving person who will be deeply missed.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Vivian Barnes and her ex-husband, Roland Dixon. She is survived by her cousins, Sally Aldridge and family, Kent Barnes, Chuck Barnes, and Jean Barnes.
Jacqueline was world traveled and was active in all aspects of being a military wife. In social affairs, she was an extraordinaire hostess. She was gracious in all circumstances.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
