Jacobo Fonseca Gonzalez

Jacobo Fonseca Gonzalez, age 91 passed away on Thursday March 30,2023. Jacobo was born November 19,1931 to parents Enrique Gonzalez and Nicolosa Fonseca in Kenedy, Texas. Jacobo was a heavy machine operator at Vulcan Materials until his retirement. Jacobo loved to work on cars, watches, small engines and help his neighbors with yard work. He played softball with multiple teams to include Los Toritos, La Villita and Vulcan. He enjoyed playing his accordion, harmonica, singing karaoke and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Enrique and Nicolosa Gonzalez. His first wife, the mother of his children Yolanda Elizondo Gonzalez. Daughter Yolanda E. Spear, son Jacob H. Gonzalez Jr., daughter Rose N. Gonzalez, grandson Eric Gonzalez and former wife Maria Gonzalez.

Jacobo is survived by his sons Javier Gonzalez (Dorothy), Richard Gonzales (Angie) and Henry Gonzalez (Laura). Son in law Christopher Spear and daughter in law Janie Gaitan Gonzalez.

Grandchildren John Jacob Ramirez, Kendra Spear, Joshua Gonzalez, Angela Gonzalez (Frank), Tiffany Gonzales, Starley Gonzales and Stephanie Gonzalez. Great grandchildren Kiana Gonzalez and Jamin Gonzalez.

Pallbearers will be Javier Gonzalez, Richard Gonzales, Henry Gonzalez, John Jacob Ramirez, Joshua Gonzalez and Tiffany Gonzales

Services will be held Thursday April 13,2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm and Friday April 14, 2023, at 11:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home 226 Cupples Road San Antonio Texas 78237. A committal service will occur Friday April 14, 2023, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park and Crematory 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Road, San Antonio Texas 78239
