Irene Ramirez Castaneda, 90, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, went to join our Lord and Savior and beloved husband, Arnulfo Castaneda, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Irene was born in Winslow, Arizona on October 21, 1927. She embraced her five daughters and friends with her humble and gentle ways that touched the hearts of many through her beautiful thoughts and never ending love for others. Her real achievement in life was the acceptance of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Because of her professed faith in Jesus Christ, we rejoice in the sure knowledge our beloved mother is now in the peace and hands of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Irene leaves behind to cherish her memories her five daughters: Mary Fierro, Alice Saucedo, Irene Herrera, Esperanza Rangel, Elizabeth Castaneda; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Thank you from your family, for your unconditional love, your remarkable values, and the wonderful and beautiful memories. We love you and we will miss you and you shall forever remain in our hearts. A special thank you to St. Luke’s Hospital, Embrace Hospice, and doctor Joseph Gonzalez for your dedicated service, compassion, and care.
A celebration of Irene’s life will be Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Please visit the online guest book for shared memories.
