Herbert S. Young, 92 passed away in George West, TX on April 28, 2015. Herb was born in Hancock, Maine on November 30, 1922. He resided in San Antonio many years. He was in the U.S. Air Force and worked for the U.S. Civil Service. He was a member of the Leonard Wood Masonic Lodge 105.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Schellhase Young, stepchildren, Karen Moody & husband, Robert and Don Schellhase & wife, Sherry, many step grand-children and step great-grandchildren, niece, Nancy, nephews, Carl and Marshal. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 with a visitation at 11AM and a service at 12PM at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
