He was born in Washington, PA, and owned retail businesses in Ohio for many years before retiring to San Antonio in 1992.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Edith Novick; son, Dr. Donald Novick and wife Beth; Dr. James Novick and wife Marsha; two granddaughters, Dr. Sherry Ingraham and husband Brook; Joy Novick, and great- granddaughter, Eden Ingraham.
