Helen Victoria Fernandez went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2011. She was born July 30, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Corine Villastrigo and daughter, Deborah Suzanne Burns. Survivors include her loving husband, Raul G. Fernandez; sister, Louise Krochmal; daughters, Arlene Falcon, Darlene Kirby and Dee Dee Solis & husband, Joseph; son, Tommy Burns Jr. & wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Erica Wall, Duke Falcon, Paco Falcon, Shaundey N. Falcon and Jeremy Kirby; great grandchildren, Marquise and Janese Falcon, Christopher and Colin Wall and Grace Victoria Noriega as well as, numerous other step-children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 5-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
