He is survived by his wife, Monica Colunga; children, Hector Colunga III and Samuel Colunga; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hector Colunga Sr.; sisters, Elizabeth Colunga, Adriana Villalobos and her husband, Andrew;

paternal grandmother, Aurora Colunga; also, nieces and nephews, Robert, Mallory, Sunny, Abcde, Jayden, Juliette, Aaliyah, Aiyla, Alexander and Lillian.

The Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Memorial Rosary to be recited at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237. Mass of The Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower St., San Antonio, TX 78201. Inurnment will follow at 12:00 p.m. in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd., San Antonio, TX 78266.
