Guadalupe Lozano Mendez was called home to be with the Lord, on December 18, 2014 at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her parents Hortencia & Richard Ballarta, husband Marvin Mendez, daughter Rosario Muñoz, and great granddaughter Amber Jean Muñoz. Guadalupe is survived by her loving children; Hortencia Coffey (William), Jesse Muñoz, Richard Anthony Muñoz (Graciela R.), sisters; Elvira Ballarta, Rosario Cano, Concepcion Silva, Maria Esparza, Teresa Ballarta; grandchildren: Jason Muñoz, Valerie Jean Muñoz, Richard Anthony Muñoz, Anthony Richard Muñoz, Marc Anthony Muñoz, Nicolas Muñoz; great grandchildren: Jasmine Star Muñoz, Celeste America Muñoz, Ryan Anthony Reyna, Alexis Muñoz, Maryam Muñoz, and Vivian Muñoz. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 04, 2015, at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, January 05, 2015 at 09:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Timothy Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
