Guadalupe P. Contreras, age 67, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on December 20, 1943 in Mexico to Apolonio & Petra Contreras. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, San Juana Contreras; children, Juan Carlos Contreras, Claudia Contreras, Daniel & Michelle Contreras, Cecilia & Rene Zamora, and Denise Contreras; grandchildren, Priscilla, Tania, Anthony, Gussy, Mariah and Angelina; great-grandson, Liam; and brother, Roberto Contreras & wife, Matilde. Visitation will be held from 5-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Doroteo Pedraza reciting. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Rev. Carlos Velazquez celebrant. Services will conclude at the church.
