Gonzalo G. Salazar

Gonzalo G. Salazar, age 72,passed away November 23,2021 in El Paso, Tx. He was born in Beeville, Tx to Gonzalo P. & Juanita Salazar. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed. Gonzalo enjoyed watching his Houston Astros, Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio spurs as well as watching his grandchildren's various activities. He proudly served his country and is a retired Army Veteran. He also worked for AT&T and the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Salazar was preceded in death by his beloved wife Maria "Dalia" Salazar.

He is survived by his daughter Monica Mendoza ( Manny), his son Ashley Salazar, his grandchildren Carissa Mendoza, Ava Mendoza, and Gabriel Mendoza. He is also survived by his sister, Mildred Nevarez , brother's Reuben Salazar, Samuel Salazar, and Joel Salazar as well as many nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home with the Graveside service at 12 noon at Sunset Memorial Park.
