Gloria worked in her parents’ restaurant, Mary’s Snack Bar, along with her sister. She discovered the joy of cooking during those years. Gloria grasped the gratification of sharing her delicious food with the rest of the family. Gloria was an avid sports fan. She would watch anything from basketball to boxing. She would always watch the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs games. Gloria would often watch the games with the grandchildren, explaining how the teams would win.
