Gloria Lee Laque

Gloria Lee Laque, born on January 8, 1940, of San Antonio, TX, was called to enter eternal rest on June 6, 2019, at the age of 79. Although Heaven is rejoicing in gaining another Angel, she will be greatly missed here on earth. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents: Joaquin and Delfina Puente Sr.; followed by her grandson: Isaiah Tomas Sanchez and brother: Joaquin Puente Jr. Gloria is survived by her loving husband: Robert Laque; Children: Cynthia Ann Pereida-Sanchez, Carlos Pereida (Norma), Joe Louis Pereida, Paul Pereida, Mark David Pereida (Roxanne), and Eli Felix Pereida. Gloria is also survived by her 13 adoring grandchildren,18 great grandchildren, Siblings: Mary Lou Bonnett (Richard), Rosemary Garcia, and Monico Puente (Elida), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Gloria was known for being a very loving and spiritual person, who enjoyed listening to mariachi, classic, Christian, and country music. She also enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She was a huge Dallas Cowboys and Spurs fan. Gloria was very well known at her parish where she was an active and dedicated member of the church. She will be dearly missed by all her close family and friends. Gloria retired from South San Independent School District after 23 years of dedicated service.
