Gloria Grace Crawford

Gloria Grace Crawford went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14th. She was born on December 14, 1932 in Lavaca County, Texas to Thad Hollis and Nettie Grace Whitfield. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. Mrs. Crawford worked in the Labor and Delivery of Downtown Baptist Hospital for more than 35 years.

Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her parents, Thad and Nettie Whitfield; and her daughter, Vicki Santana. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James L. Crawford; her children, Jimmy Crawford and his wife, Lilia; and Michael Moore; her grandchildren, Heather Gonzales, Sean Young, Anthony Santana; and great grandchildren, Cullen and Rhianna Gonzales; her sister, Hollis Jean Meyers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 4th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 pm. The Committal Service will then occur at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park.
