Gilbert Gomez born on July 19, 1960 went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2017. He is preceded in death by his mother Alice Gomez and his niece Nicole Gomez. He is survived by his father Joe A. Gomez; Brother Edward; Sister Gloria; Daughter Latasha; Son Chris; Nieces and nephews April, Hope, Megan, Mark, Raymond and Alfonso; Friends Diana, Mary, Josie and Mike. Gilbert had worked at Toyota and Big Red Bottling. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and one of the kindest souls on earth. He will truly be missed by family and friends. A Visitation will be on Sunday February 26, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home on 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be on Monday February 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Trevino Funeral Home in the Chapel of Memories followed by a Funeral Procession for interment at San Fernando II Cemetery.
