Frank Kenneth Volz
November 14, 1934 – July 2, 2013
Frank Kenneth Volz beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and friend was called home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2013 at the age of 78. He was born on November 14, 1934 in San Antonio Texas to Walter Jake Volz and Nella Mae Zinsmeyer. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Carolyn Mitchell, his granddaughter Robin Dickerson, his brother Walter Lamar Volz and his sons in law Mike Mitchell, Keith Dickerson and Gary Haberer. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Lee, his daughters Darlene Howser and husband Hal and Susan Haberer, sons Charles Volz and wife Melissa and Roger Volz and wife Karen; twelve (12) grandchildren and their six (6) spouses as well as six (6) great-grandchildren.
Frank worked at San Antonio International Airport for fifty (50) years and had numerous lifelong friends and coworkers from the airport, especially Roger and June Ivey and Harold and Linda Gornitz. Frank’s passion was his family his friends and his work. As a father and manager, he was a man of few words--he taught others by example. His presence is going to be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The Family would like to thank Hope Hospice in New Braunfels for the compassionate care they provided for not only Frank but the entire family.
A special thank you to Home Instead caregivers Randall, Monica and Brandi. You cared for our loved one as if he was your own.

Honorary Pall Bearer: 1st Lt. Tony Haberer proudly serving our Country in Afghanistan.
Visitation will be at 9 am on Saturday, July 6th with Services and Burial following at 10 am .
