Francisca H. Galan, age 90 years, was called by our Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2021. She was born October 10, 1931 in Texas to the late Abran and Felipa (Lozano) Hernandez. Francisca was a stay at home Mom and took care of her eleven children as best she could until it came time for her grown children
to care of her. Her unconditional love for her family was never ending. She was full of laughter and smiles. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her favorite things to do besides read the bible was playing Loteria and completing puzzles. Francisca will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Besides her parents and husband, Manuel F. Galan, she was predeceased
by her sons Martin, Edward, Richard and her daughter Margarita. Francisca was also the last of her siblings to be with our Lord. Surviving are five sons and two daughters: Juan, Arthur, Gregorio Sr. (Mary),
Balvino Sr. (Clara Jo), Steven, Sylvia (Tony) Quintero, Beatrice (Mario) Bobadilla;
many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave., San Antonio, TX 78205, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, 1321 El Paso Street with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
