Felice Arguijo Escobar

Felice Arguijo Escobar born on March 31, 1927 in Pleasanton, TX was called to be with the Lord on August 21, 2014 at the age of 87. She was a resident of San Antonio for the last 47 years. She was an avid traveler, enjoyed sewing and cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Contreras Sr.; and her second husband, George S. Escobar; parents, Francisca and Antonio Arguijo; Brothers Guillermo Arguijo and Lalo Arguijo, Sister Jesusa Salindas. Also preceding her were Beatrice Escobar Perez, and Josie Escobar Mendoza.

She is survived by her daughter, Dolores Contreras-Jagge and husband, Damon; son, Salvador Contreras Jr.; George Escobar, Jr. And wife Jane; daughter Mary Lou Escobar Espinoza and husband Evaristo. Grandchildren include, Salvador Contreras III (Mary), Andrew Contreras, Vicki Vogel (John), Matthew Contreras and Linda Jagge, George Ramon Perez, Carlos Mendoza, Sr., Richard E. Mendoza, Frank Mendoza E. Mendoza Sr., Sophie Ramon, Frances Gomez, Georgina Jane Escobar, Cindy Hernandez, Rachel Cox, Gabriel Espinoza, and Gilbert Espinoza. She is also survived by Janie Salazar (Joe), Brother, Paul Arguijo (Joanne); brother-in-law, Jack Contreras (Alice). There are numerous great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 4415 S. Flores St. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX.
