Elsa A. Ameri

She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas on December 1, 1952 to her parents, Alfredo and Alicia Arispe.

She is preceded in death by her father, Alfredo Arispe, Sr.; her brothers, Alfredo Arispe, Jr. and Robert Blazycyk; and her friends, Mary Jane Esquivel, Cynthia Rodriguez, and Linda Garza.

Elsa leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Alicia Arispe; her son, Marcel M. Arispe and his wife Marybelle; her grandchildren, Isaiah Arispe, Mariella Davila, Marcia Arispe, Shellby Arispe, Darius Arispe, Sienna Loza, and Amaya Loza; her siblings, Diana Riojas, Roland Arispe, and Debbie Yglesias; her cousin, Angelica Lopez; her friends, Rosie Cardenas and her daughter Diana del Monaco, Rosie Cisneros, Diana Benavides, and Yolanda Torrez; and her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who all adored her.

The family will be receiving friends for a Visitation on Monday, December 16 at Roy Akers Funeral Home – 515 N. Main Ave. – from 5 PM to 9 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 PM. The Funeral Procession will depart at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, December 17 and arrive at St. James Catholic Church – 907 W. Theo Ave. 78225 – for a Mass at 10 AM. Burial Chapel Hill Memorial Park – 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., 78239 – will follow at the conclusion of the service.
