Elmer C. “Pat” Patzkowski, born August 9th 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with our Lord on July 8th 2019. Pat grew up in Brentwood, Pennsylvania and enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school. He went on to serve in both the U.S. Army and Air Force as a non-commissioned officer, and retired in the rank of Master Sergeant from the New York Air National Guard. He was the owner and founder of Datatronics, Inc., an electronics hardware manufacturer which built components for the V-22 Osprey, the B-2 Stealth Bomber, and the Hubble Space Telescope among many other projects. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring vintage cars in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marguerite Patzkowski, and sisters, Christine and Sara Rose. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rosemary Patzkowski, children Steven Patzkowski (Jennifer), Mark Patzkowski (Jena), and Michael Patzkowski (Jeanne), and grandchildren, Harley, Jacey, Isabella, Max, Mark Jr., and Caitlin.
A visitation will begin on Monday, July 22nd 2019 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
