Elmer Garza Jr., age 76, passed away July 5, 2022 in Seguin, TX. He was born in McAllen, TX to Elmo & Rosa Garza. He was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran and a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed. He was a Postal Service retiree who enjoyed fishing, golf and woodworking.
Mr. Garza was preceded in death by his siblings, Henry, Richie and Deana.
He is survived by his wife, Candace D. Garza; children, Tony, Dominic, Ann and 7 grandchildren. Elmer is also survived by his siblings: Lalo, Norma, and Gilbert.
The Memorial Service will be 9:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The Grave Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at be the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Air Force Honors. There will be a catered reception at Sunset Reception Hall at 11:15 -1:15 pm.
