E.J. Johnson, age 85, passed away January 31, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas, He was born in Meridian, Mississippi on January 14, 1930 to Earl and Sadie Belle Johnson. He retired from the U.S. Army after many years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Johnson and he is survived by his sister, Ruby Hall and many of his friends. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Raod , San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S.Army honors.
