Edwin “Ed” Ray Langston, age 76, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Floresville, TX. He was born July 24, 1935 in Venice, IL to Kenneth and Atlas (Sharp) Langston. Ed is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Kenneth, Merv and Gerald Langston; sister, Elnora Scaturro. Survivors include his sisters, Juanita Hasty and Joyce Petty; former wife, Annie Langston; sons, Dennis Pacatte & wife, Chanell and Randy Pacatte & wife, Kelli; daughters, Julie Riddle and Jill De La Garza & husband, Fernando; grandchildren, Dawn, Emma, Catherine, Jessica, James, Ron Lee, Emily and Eric; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. We will miss you “Monkey 1!”. Visitation will take place from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Mr. Lloyd Buckmaster officiating.
