Eddie R. Zuniga, age 50, went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2012. He was born on March 2, 1962 to Martin & Rosa Zuniga in San Antonio, TX. He currently worked at CPS Energy and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Ofelia Zuniga; and brother, Jaime R. Zuniga.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years of marriage, Magdalena “Maggie” Zuniga; daughters, Alyssa & Cassondra Zuniga; father, Martin Zuniga; brothers, Homer & Edmundo Zuniga; sister, Dalma Palacios; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate, San Antonio, TX 78216. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eddie’s name to CYO at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, for he devoted numerous hours to this organization.
