Donald J. Austin, age 78 passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 He is survived by his wife, Donnie, three Sons, two daughters, six grandchildren, two bothers and one sister. Mr. Austin was retired Army after serving and enlistment in the Marine Corp. He was very active in the community, in church (ACTS), running and sports officiating. Viewing will be held at Sunset Funeral Home at 1701 Austin Hwy on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Fort Sam Houston on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 12:15pm with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 pm.
