Diana Garcia went to her LORD and SAVIOR on November 25, 2022, at the age of 79. Diana was born on August 28, 1943 in Paras Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was the beloved daughter of Juan H. and Albeza P. Garza. Diana married the love of her life, Ismael Garcia (Neo) native of Reynosa, on February 21, 1965, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. They celebrated 52 years of marriage, always placing family first, in their home in San Antonio Texas.
Diana was a devoted mother and homemaker blessed with five children: Diana, Sandra, Margarita, ismael Jr., and David. She was a pillar of strength and raised her children while her husband launched several businesses including: landscaping, recycling, and a moving company (Garcia's Delivery Service). Throughout her life, she was of strong faith and was devoted to protecting and caring for her family. She raised her children to be strong, independant, and kind
As an Adult, Diana accomplished learning English as a second language, earned her GED from St. Mary Magdalen and obtained her driver's license. She enjoyed singing, gardening, family gatherings, travels to the beach and was a seasoned shopper when it came to garage sales and flea markets.
Diana welcomed everyone into her home with warm hospitality, preparing meals for all that entered her kitchen. She had an unyielding love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She intentionally and gracefully instilled the importance of family values and love. Her legacy will continue to live through us, in us and beyond us in our interactions with others. She left a lasting impression in the heart and soul of each person who knew her.
She will be remembered with love by Diana Bosquez (Santiago), Sandra Munoz ( Estevan), Margarita Hamlin (Thomas Jr.), Ismael Garcia Jr. (Marisela), and David Garcia. Her grandchildren: Jasmine, Jocyln (Jose), Jeanelle (Matthew), Violette, Iris, Estevan III, Thomas III, Kayla (Joseph), Sebastian, Camilla, and Joaquin. Her great-grandchildren: Ella and Lincoln.
In saying goodbye, Mom's words of wisdom would always share, "Quieranse mucho!" These words are found in 1 Peter 4:8 which reads "Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for lover covers a multitude of sins."
