Delfino was born in San Antonio on November 2, 1934.
He is survived by his siblings, Alex Lopez, Maria Luisa Vasquez and Clara Mills.
He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews including Mark Mills, Roger Gonzalez, Roman Gonzalez, Camille, Jimenez, Susanne Martinez, Jennifer Farias, Mark Vallejo, John Pachecano, Robert Pachecano, Sylvia Pachecano (deceased), Louis Pachecano, Jerry Vasquez, Bobby Vasquez (deceased), Christopher Vasquez, James Vasquez. Anna Vasquez, Alex Lopez Jr and Steve Lopez.
Delfino has reunited with family that have gone before him. His wife, Mary Bixio Lopez. His Mother Maria Aguero, his father, Max Lopez, his sisters Lupe Vallejo, Velia Pachecano and Consuelo Lopez Martinez.
Delfino honorably served in the US Army for 4 years. It was during the peacetime era and he was stationed in Germany and Korea. He has shared several experiences with us. He led a challenging and interesting life.
Delfino was loved by all and when he laughed, it was from the heart. He was generous to his family during Christmas and their birthdays. He will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9th from 5-8 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, April 10th at 10:00 am at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 am.
