Deborah held God and her family as the center of her life. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Dennis Alan Johnson, her beautiful daughter Brittany Scott, her husband Nick and son Owen Scott. Her mother Madeline Weaver, her sister Joanna ‘Boo’ and family, Dwayne and Jonathan Osburg and nieces and nephew. She loved her dogs Shotzi, Bevo and Hope.
Deborah attended UTSA in her 40’s and received her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. While working at the Center for Health Care Services, she received her LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor).
She loved windmills, Halloween, snowmen, and the outdoors, whether it was hiking or in the water, any type of water- the pool, the river or the Texas coastline. She especially loved Garner State Park which is where Deb and Dennis got engaged.
Deborah loved butterflies. Not only did she love their beauty, but to her they symbolized rebirth. So if you see one in the next few days, look closely at them and how beautiful they are. One could be Deb flying around to say goodbye!
Loved forever and a day.….
