David had a good sense of humor and was always telling jokes. He loved music and had a big collection of albums and records. Watching movies was one of his pastimes, especially if it was a zombie movie. He maintained a log of all of his collection of movies. He enjoyed reading and he liked to write poetry. Tennis and softball were his favorite games and he was very competitive. He enjoyed dancing to country music with his wife and playing chess. Poker was his game of choice. He would gather with his friends to play. The Cowboys, Texans, Spurs, and Astros were his favorite teams. You Tube was always a good resource for him when something had to be repaired. He loved coaching his son in Little League and enjoyed watching him practice his martial arts. Most of all, he enjoyed playing with his granddaughter, Isabella. She meant the world to him.
