David Shores

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of David Shores. He left this world way too soon on December 25, 2021 in his family's home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Freeport, Illinois on January 21, 1960 to Wayne Shores and Lorraine Griswold.

David was an amazing man of many hats. His most recent was working at Costco as a Club Demonstration Service Associate, the beloved Costco Sample Guy. He made many friends in that job which he excelled at since he loved to make people happy and especially make them laugh. He also served his country in the United States Air Force, an accomplishment he was very proud of.

David also loved listening to music and all different types. In his youth he was an excellent basketball player and his love of sports continued throughout his life. His family brought him the greatest joy in life, he always looked forward to his daily conversations with his beloved Brother Daniel who he would refer to as his mentor in life.

He leaves behind his beloved family; Daughter Amber Shores, Son David Shores (Hawkins), and Daughter Sunny Shores. His siblings; Sister Barbara Shores, Brother Daniel Shores, and Sister Marilyn Olson. All will cherish the memories they have created with David.

David has now reunited with his parents Wayne Shores & Lorraine Griswold.

A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232.
